Dr. Reid Swenson was born in Salt Lake City and raised in Lehi. He remembers Lehi when there were no stop lights witnessed the filming of Foot Loose which put Lehi on the map. As a Lehi Pioneer he enjoyed being involved in sports but was never accepted in the school choir.

After serving a mission in Los Angeles, he graduated from BYU with honors. His favorite class was taxidermy where posing a dead mouse to scare his soon to be wife exhibited an early talent for bending wires. He attended dental school at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. He and his rusty truck from High School made it another four years and he graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Dr. Swenson was then accepted into an orthodontic residency at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. He loved Chicago and his bleacher bum friends at Wrigley Field. He was the lone Jazz fan in the United Center the night the Jazz lost to the Bulls. It was a sad moment for him.

Dr. Swenson is married and has six daughters. He knows more lyrics to "Annie" and "High School Musical" than probably most fathers. After many years of practice he has almost mastered "the ponytail," for those mornings when mom needs a hand.

He and his wife Elise are glad to have settled their family in Utah where they enjoy the wonderful family lifestyle and outdoors. Dr. Swenson loves to fly fish, camp, ski, golf, and mountain bike, but most of all he loves to give people beautiful smiles.
